After the "Big Italian Car Crash" we headed to tenuta Matilde Tasso vini tipicia della Campania for a wine tasteing before heading to a local restuarant for dinner.
Since I was the designated driver Papa indulged in lot's of vino and was introduced traditional to Italian cuisine including...bruschetta, deep fried potatoe rolls stuffed with cheese, eggplant parmesana, sausages and potatoes, pasta with fresh ricotta, wlanuts and saffron, caprese cake and lemoncello! It was a late night as one guest who had just arrived from the states and was quite jet legged drank a couple of bottles of vino to herself and was whoop, whoop, whooping it up quite loudly...video to follow when Earl gets home and shows me how. She left her purse at the restaurant and we ended up having to wait an hour at a further spot for it to be delivered. Dad and I picked Taryn up at 1:00 am from the Support Site Bowling Alley and rushed home to get a little rest before heading off for Tuscany the next morning.
